Jennifer Brough (she/they) is a disabled, slow writer and workshop facilitator based in Nottingham.
She writes poetry and short stories exploring the body, pain, and horror using a magical, surrealist lens. She is writing her first poetry pamphlet, Occult Pain, and is also a reviewer. Jennifer founded resting up collective, an interdisciplinary group of sick artists that offers spaces for rest and creativity. She was shortlisted for the Disabled Poets Prize's Best Single Poem 2023 and was Birmingham's Young Poet Laureate from 2006-2007. |
